Building Excellence: A Campaign for the Future of Tuscaloosa Academy
Tuscaloosa Academy is proud to unveil the plans for our new state-of-the-art athletic facility, a bold step forward in our commitment to excellence in the student experience. Building Excellence is the most transformative capital campaign in TA’s recent history. With your support, we will construct a new Athletic Center that matches the strength of our programs and the spirit of our students. This is more than a building—it’s an investment in every student’s experience and the future of our school community.
Why Now?
Our students are excelling—in academics, the arts, and athletics. But our current facilities no longer reflect the caliber of our programs or the size of our ambitions. Our single gym, limited locker rooms, and undersized field house place real limitations on how we gather, practice, and compete.
It’s time for an Athletic Center that reflects who we are—and who we’re becoming.
What We’re Building
A Regulation-Size Gymnasium to host competitions and tournaments, physical education, practices, and indoor play
Locker Rooms for home and visiting teams
Football Field House designed to accommodate the entire football team to prepare players for success on and off the field
A Fully Outfitted Weight Room for all athletic teams for strength training, injury prevention, and athletic development
Offices and Storage to support daily operations of our faculty and staff
Designed with our students, families, and future in mind, this transformative project will elevate the athletic experience at TA for generations to come. More than just a building, the new facility will be a space that fosters teamwork, school spirit, and community.
