Dear Tuscaloosa Academy Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I am truly honored to serve as President of the Tuscaloosa Academy Parents’ Association (TAPA), and I look forward to another year of building relationships, creating memories, and supporting the incredible community that makes Tuscaloosa Academy so special.
One of the things I love most about TA is the sense of family. From the first day of school to the last, our parents, teachers, staff, and students work together to create an environment where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive. TAPA is proud to play a small part in that by supporting our faculty, celebrating our students, and bringing families together throughout the year.
Many of the traditions our families look forward to each year are made possible by TAPA, including Punkin’ Knight, the Bake Sale, teacher appreciation events, Dine with the Dean, and duty-free lunches for our amazing faculty. We also oversee the Knights Armour school store and help fund special classroom and campus “Wish List” projects that enhance the student experience beyond what tuition and the Annual Fund provide.
Whether you’re new to Tuscaloosa Academy or your family has been here for years, I encourage you to get involved with TAPA in whatever way works best for you. Every helping hand—whether it’s volunteering at an event, serving on a committee, or simply showing up to support our school—makes a meaningful difference. The friendships you’ll build and the memories you’ll create are just as rewarding as the impact you’ll have on our community.

Knights Armor is Tuscaloosa Academy’s official school store, proudly operated by the Tuscaloosa Academy Parents’ Association (TAPA). Every purchase you make directly supports our students, faculty, and staff—helping fund programs, events, and enhancements across campus.
How Knights Armor Works
We don’t have a traditional storefront, but we make it easy for families to shop TA spirit wear throughout the year:
Seasonal Preorders – Three online preorder links are shared each year: once in the summer, once in the fall, and once in the spring. These preorders offer our largest selection of spirit items. Be on the lookout for these preorder opportunities on social media, the TA website (when live), and by email.
Game Day Pop-Ups – On select Friday nights, you’ll find a Knights Armor table at football games with a limited lineup of fan favorites—like t-shirts, hats, and other small items—perfect for showing your TA spirit on the spot.
