Academics

Curriculum

At TA, students immerse themselves in a traditional and comprehensive academic program.

  • AP courses in the core subjects and the arts and technology.

  • Wide selection of electives to choose from including Psychology, Digital Photography, Theater, and Game Design.

  • Integration of technology in each classroom that allows for cooperative learning and a one to one learning environment.

  • German, French, and Spanish are the core languages offered to students.

There are many paths to success, and we strive to help our Upper School students discover their own unique talents and ambitions in and out of the classroom. One of the hallmarks of a Tuscaloosa Academy experience is that our students graduate remarkably well-prepared for college. But it’s not all about the outcome — it’s about the journey and what we learn and discover along the way.
