9th Grade: Exploration & Self-Discovery
- Introductory meeting with College Preparedness office
- Prepare 4-year high school academic plan
- Take Pre ACT; Review results with College Preparedness Office
- Work hard in classes and earn high GPA
10th Grade: Building Foundations
- Take PSAT and ACT at TA
- Review and revise 4 year academic plan
- Take Youscience personal inventory to gauge personal interests
- Take college tour with class
- Plan for summer activities
11th Grade: Research & Planning
- Take PSAT and ACT
- Review and Revise 4 year plan
- Take college tour with class
- Create tentative list of colleges
- Work with College Readiness office to prepare activity resume
- Junior College Planning Meetings
- Attend College fairs & rep visits
- Essay & résumé writing workshops
12th Grade: Applying & Deciding
- Attend college bootcamp summer before senior year
- Meet with College Readiness Office to finalize college list and applications
- Set deadlines for application submissions
- Take final ACT in fall
- Complete FAFSA and review scholarship opportunities
- Celebrate and enjoy the year
- Application, FAFSA & scholarship help
